Salute the pioneering Sixties sci-fi of Rod Sterling
Having an immeasurable impact on modern science-fiction through creating/writing his landmark series The Twilight Zone, which originally ran for 156 episodes between 1959 and 1964, and co-writing the screenplay for 1967′s Planet Of The Apes, the legendary Rod Sterling is to be honoured in a biopic to be produced by his widow, Carol Sterling, and Andrew Meieran of Bureau Of Moving Pictures.
“Rod Serling was one of the true visionaries in television history”, Meieran told Deadline. “He single-handedly broke the mold and established television as a powerful artistic medium capable of changing the world when used wisely.”
