Today Ubaldo Jimenez and the Colorado Rockies square off against Ian Kennedy and the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field in the season opener for 2011 for both teams. If this seems a familiar scenario and opponent for opening day, that's because it is. The Rockies were the Diamondbacks first opponent in 1998, and today marks the sixth time since then that the two teams have met in the season opener, outside that inaugural meeting in 1998, the rest of the opening day match-ups have happened over the last decade. The Diamondbacks have also been the most frequent home opening opponent for the Rockies.
