Kurt Cobain’s death, 17 years later

Kurt Cobain died in his Seattle home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound 17 years ago.

He was 27 years old.

Cobain’s death caused a wave of grief to ripple out over Seattle — and the rest of the world. Years later, a guitar sculpture is being erected in his hometown of Aberdeen.
